Nigella Midnight
Nigella Midnight is truly an exceptional sight in your garden or flower border. The deep blue flowers are super chic and combine beautifully in bouquets. Nigella is also known as "Love-in-a-Mist". Sow them and make not only yourself happy but also the bees and butterflies!
Sow early in the season 3-4 times at intervals of 2-3 weeks for continuous flower production. Direct sowing in open ground is recommended. Sow early in spring when soil temperatures are between 10-16°C. Nigella prefers a sunny location and well-draining soil.
Fertilization: Provide moderate nutrients and add extra potassium to prevent the plants from falling over quickly.
For dried arrangements: Cut the stems once the flowers fade and the decorative seed pods become visible. Hang the stems upside down in a dry, airy place until they are completely dried.
